Patrick Tam is the Vice President of Operational Excellence at ServiceNow. In this role, he is responsible for driving enterprise-wide operational performance and delivery of corporate priorities, including enterprise workforce planning, AI productivity, AI governance, global entity operationalization, and regulated markets.
Prior to ServiceNow, Patrick held various executive roles at Cisco, including leading Corporate Planning & Corporate Transformation. Patrick is a Professor of Operations Management at San Jose State University and authored/illustrated a Children’s Book on Finding Happiness.
He is passionate about living every day to the fullest with his family, friends, and colleagues.
With over 30 years of experience at industry giants like Intel, Cisco, VMware, and Meta, Fred’s career is a testament to the power of continuous learning and professional adaptability. Currently at NVIDIA, he has successfully navigated a multifaceted journey, pivoting from an initial foundation in Manufacturing Engineering into high-impact roles in Services Marketing, Global Partner Sales, and Services Product Management. This trajectory highlights a relentless drive to master new domains and thrive amidst the tech industry’s constant evolution.

Laura is an SJSU Alum, and an engineer with 10 years of experience in the laser industry. She has previously worked at Lumentum, Coherent, and Picarro — contributing to products across the manufacturing lifecycle. Outside of work, you can find her surfing, traveling, or trying to survive a Solidcore class.
